Welcome to Tales of the Wonder Kind! This is the sneak preview section dedicated to our home produced comic. It will be updated as and when time allows and new material is produced. Tales of the Wonder Kind will have a periodic production schedule, somewhere between every 6 months to year or so. Its mainly produced for fun but will be a real comic book that you should be able to buy in your local comic shop, or of course direct from us at Krypton Komics. If we start to sell enough of them to earn a profit then the rate of production will increase. Out now issue three! This one has 44 pages and again features no adverts, so at only £2.95 it’s excellent value for money!Or if you want something truly rare we've done a limited signed sketch variant this time. Priced at £9.95 is has a print run of only 100 copies. Anyone who buys a copy of the variant will have their name and the number they bought printed in the next issue. At the time of writing the lowest remaining available number is 56, so don’t miss your chance to grab this rarity while you can! Soon they will all be gone!
Standard Cover Limited Signed Sketch Variant! Only 100 printed This issue also features our special guest splash page inker the remarkable Mr Joe Sinnott. Joe is widely regarded at the finest inker of the Silver Age of comics, an opinion I’ve long shared. Having a contribution from Joe is about the coolest thing I can think of, so thanks again Joe, you really are one of the good guysJ

Issue 2 Issue 1 (Limited Quantities) To order this item go to the Online Catalogue It's listed under 'T' for Tales of the Wonder Kind. As its drawn by Kryptons owner (Gary Ochiltree), anyone who is interested will be in the unusual position of being able to come down to the Krypton shop and see how the latest issue is going. Quite a lot of it is drawn in the shop between customers and mail order sales. Never let it be said that I dont have a busy life!
Issue 1 features 3 complete stories starring the Amazing Human Wonder. As each issue will be likely to be separated from the next by at least six months there will no cliff hanger endings, though the events and characters will continue from issue to issue. Ive also decided to pack as much as possible into each package to give the best possible bang for the buck. So the format is 36 pages with no ads. (Not even house ads.) Its all comics from front to back.Issue 2 features even more pages than issue one weighing in at a whopping 44 pages with no ads. There are three stories in this issue also. The first ‘Death & Taxes’ features The Human Wonder & The Apparition in a battle against the one foe that cannot be defeated. The taxman! The second again delves into the history of the Wonderverse with a tale featuring the Human Wonders 1940’s team mates the Expellers, and the third outing has more of a Sci-fi feel to it as we introduce the menace of Solarius! Issue 3 features no less than five complete stories ranging from silver age super-hero, to 1950’s horror, to golden age super-hero and modern satire. A damn fine issue if I say so myself. Buy it now! Ive roped in several talented creators to help me with this project. The lead strip in Issue 1 features inking from Lee Townsend. Lee is now a comics inking pro with projects for Image, DC, Warhammer Monthly and 2000ad under his belt. Fortunately Ive known him for years and so can still get him to do work for me!
The second strip is inked by Nick Neocleous. Nick is a long time creator whos done work for 2000ad and Harrier Comics, as well as publishing Graphic Eye magazine. Nick is also our cover colourist. Those of you who remember the Cosmic Comics mail order catalogue will also know who Nick is. Nick has his own web site for those who would like to find out some more about the man and his work. It's well worth a look. www.planetnik.com The other contributor to production is Martin Shipp. Martin has a long and illustrious career involved in comics. Having been involved in retail via Eternal Comics & Stateside Comics, Distribution via Pacific & Diamond, publishing via Heretic Press & Borderline Magazine, and of course writing throughout. Martin contributed the Script for the second strip as well as acting as creative and editorial consultant.
